Ingredients (for one meal 90-100g):
- 30 grams of lean beef (choose tenderloin or shank)
- 100 ml homemade beef stock
- 10 grams of white radish (peeled, cut into small pieces)
Spices:
- 1 clove garlic (finely chopped, optional)
- 1 slice of ginger
- 1 slice galangal
- 1 stalk of spring onion (take the green part, finely chop)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 stalk of lemongrass, crushed
- 1 tsp coconut oil or Extra Virgin Olive Oil (optional, for added healthy fats when sauteing)
How to make:
1. Saute the spices and soto stock
- Finely chop the beef or serve in small pieces as finger food.
- Saute the spices with 1 tbsp coconut oil or Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
2. Add Rice
- Put the rice and beef stock into the pan.
- Cook over low heat until the meat and rice are tender.
3. Adjust Texture
- For MPASI: Blend the soto until smooth or a texture that suits the baby's eating stage.
- For BLW: Serve the meat in small, tender pieces and the turnips steamed until soft.
