7-Month Baby Recipe: Vegetable Beef Soup — Nutritious & Immune-Boosting Meal

As babies begin to actively crawl, sit, and explore, their energy needs also increase. Vegetable Beef Soup is a balanced complementary food choice that supports this growth and developmental phase. Beef is rich in iron and protein, while the combination of vegetables like carrots, potatoes, and corn provides vitamins, minerals, and fiber for immunity and digestive health.
The texture can be adjusted — as a soft porridge or a BLW version with tender chunks.


🥣 Ingredients (for 1 meal, ±90–100 gr)

  • 3 tbsp cooked white rice

  • 30 grams of minced beef

  • 10 g potatoes, cut into small cubes (optional)

  • 10g carrots, diced or finely grated

  • ¼ tomato, seeds removed

  • 60–70 ml beef stock (adjust texture)

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Finely chop the beef, garlic, and celery. Dice the potatoes and carrots into small cubes. Bruise the ginger.

  2. Sauté the spices: Melt unsalted butter or heat olive oil. Sauté the garlic and ginger until fragrant.

  3. Cook the meat: Add the minced beef, stir until it changes color and is cooked.

  4. Add the vegetables: Add the potatoes, carrots, and rice. Mix well.

  5. Pour in the stock and celery: Add the stock until the ingredients are submerged, then add the celery. Cook until the vegetables are tender and the flavors are absorbed.
