Ingredients:
- 20 grams of skinless chicken (cut into small pieces, free-range chicken fillet is recommended)
- 40 grams steamed potatoes (peeled & cut into small pieces)
- 15 grams of sweet corn (corn kernels or frozen corn without added salt)
- 60 ml chicken broth (click the link for how to make homemade chicken stock without salt)
- 1 clove garlic (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon unsalted butter (always choose unsalted for optimal health)
- 1 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (to substitute unsalted butter if not available)
How to make:
-
Stir-fried Garlic and Chicken:
Heat unsalted butter or extra virgin olive oil until melted and saute garlic until it turns yellow so it doesn't burn later. Add chicken and saute until cooked and mix in chicken stock. -
Cook Vegetables:
Add the potatoes and corn to the same pot. Boil until the potatoes are tender and the corn is cooked. -
Blend All Ingredients:
Place the chicken, potatoes, and corn in a blender. Add a little chicken broth to get the desired consistency. -
Customize Texture:
- For MPASI: Blend until smooth for puree.
- For BLW: Serve small pieces of chicken with boiled potatoes cut lengthwise for easy handling.
Important Tips:
- Choose fresh or frozen sweet corn without added salt for a natural taste.
- Use homemade chicken stock to make it healthier and preservative-free.
